We are seeking to appoint a persons(s) to be the Area Commissioner for Ceredigion who has the passion, vision and energy to lead, enthuse and inspire others.

As the Area Commissioner you would be responsible for leading the Scout Area ensuring that we provide good quality Scouting for young people, and taking us forward into the future as a growing organisation relevant to young people and adults alike. You would be capable of providing strategic direction, working with people of all ages and enabling change.

Launch of Welsh Scout Award

During 2018 we will be relaunching the Welsh Beaver Scout and Welsh Cub Scout Awards and also adding a Welsh Scout Award.

These Awards are part of our programme to help us celebrate our Welsh heritage and the place we live.

ScoutsCymru & Welsh Rugby Union Partnership

 

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to develop skills in coaching and organising Tag Rugby tournaments through a new Partnership with the WRU during 2018.

Those attending will complete the WRU’s Rugby Leaders Award course, which will provide you with the training and skills to, as a team, provide a Tag Rugby Festival.

We are hoping to offer this festival as an activity, as part of the 2018 All Wales Scout Camp in June.

All Wales Scout Camp 2018

We are delighted to be able to launch the information for All Wales Scout Camp 2018 (#AWSC18).  We are looking forward to welcoming back returning friends and greeting new friends from groups across Wales and Beyond!

We are searching for a group of experienced, enthusiastic and motivated adults to lead the ScoutsCymru unit(s) to the 24th World Scout Jamboree

The roles are, Jamboree Unit Leader, Deputy Leader and Assistance Unit Leaders 

We are looking for a Female Assistant Unit Leader for the North Wales Region and a number of Reserves that could be placed in any of the four Wales Units. Successful candidates will be invited to an interview Wednesday 13th December at Wrexham District Scout HQ. A £400 deposit will be required on acceptance of the role.
